How do I let you know what my pledge is for?
We’ll be utilizing BackerKit as we have in our prior campaigns. For you Kickstarter veterans, you may already know what that means, but if you’re new to the platform, BackerKit is what’s called a “pledge management” system.
The way it works is simple: after the campaign ends in 30 days, you’ll get an invitation to fill out a survey on BackerKit. All of your pledge information will be imported from Kickstarter automatically, and you’ll be able to choose exactly which items you wanted to pledge for, and even add more if you like. You’ll then finalize your order, settle up any balance (including final shipping), and submit, and you’re done!
After that comes the hard part… waiting for fulfillment to begin! :)

Can I change my pledge if I decide I want a different wood, or more Tabletop Tiles?
Yes! You can change your pledge freely during the campaign, whenever you like. Your pledge is final only when the Kickstarter closes. At that point, your pledge is locked in. You’ll then make your choices in the BackerKit survey, after the campaign, though you can add additional funds there, too, if you like (as explained above).

How does Roll The Dice work?
Roll The Dice is our name for a fun, easy pledge option we like to offer. To pledge for a Roll The Dice item, simply pledge the fixed amount for the items you’d like - the prices are equivalent to Cherry, as noted in the list of wood options on the campaign page.
If you pledge for a Roll The Dice item, you’ll receive that item in a randomly selected wood. There are a list of woods that will be utilized on the campaign page, with approximate odds for each, but they include most woods priced at Cherry level or above - so you’re guaranteed a great value, and there’s literally no way to lose!
But while we love Roll The Dice, and lots of our fans, do, too, it isn’t for everyone. Please bear in mind a few things before selecting a Roll The Dice item:
1) Roll The Dice results are random, and can be any of the woods on the “odds” list. If you have strong preferences - for example, if you really like dark woods but dislike lighter toned varieties, or if you love woods with character, or are interested in only colorful woods - Roll The Dice is probably not the best option for you. You should check out the full lineup on the bottom of the campaign page, and choose a wood you’re confident you’ll love. If you need some help with that, we’d be happy to see if we can suggest a match. Just shoot us a message right here on Kickstarter. And remember, if you really don’t like something you get from us, just reach out - you’re always covered by our Craftsman’s Promise. :)
2) Roll The Dice components will not match. In this campaign, each RTD item in your order will be chosen independently. With so many Tile options, we realized we simply couldn’t guarantee that every possible combination of RTD items would be available in the same wood, in a backer’s desired quantity - so we decided to mix it up - literally!
If you pledge for multiple RTD items, every single one will be a different, unique wood. We love wood variety, as you can see from our campaign page, and if you do, too, you’ll love a Roll The Dice set of Tabletop Tiles. We’re really excited about this option, and we think it’s a fun addition to the campaign.
3) Roll The Dice results are a mystery - even to us! In the past, backers have requested to know what their results were ahead of time for various reasons. This time around, for the same reasons mentioned above, we will be unable to determine that until fulfillment actually occurs - meaning we’ll find out when we pull and pack your order, and you’ll find out when you open it!

Roll The Dice items won't match each other - but will they be unique from the other woods I pledge for?
All RTD items in a single order (up to 25) are guaranteed to be different woods. However, if you pledge for a mix of RTD and non-RTD items, there is a chance your RTD items will match. For example, if you pledge for: 1x Solo Tile in Bolivian Rosewood 1x Roll The Dice Rolling Tile
It is possible your RTD Rolling Tile will be Bolivian Rosewood, as well. In fulfillment, efforts will be made to avoid this, but the nature of RTD means that it is possible, and we can’t impose further restrictions on it beyond the stipulations already guaranteed.
Thank you for your understanding!

Can I request that certain woods be excluded from my Roll The Dice odds? Does the Craftsman's Promise cover me if I don't like an RTD result?
Ultimately, no, we cannot exclude certain woods from selection.
You can always express any preferences of this nature in your survey, and we will take note of all such requests during fulfillment, but please understand that Roll The Dice items are random and we cannot guarantee the exclusion of certain options without impact to our fulfillment schedule and process.
Regarding the Craftsman’s Promise: if your RTD item arrives in a wood you strongly dislike, you can exchange it, as per the Promise, selecting any wood you like and “opting out” of RTD.
Be advised that there will be an additional charge in the amount of the difference between the Roll The Dice cost and the cost of the desired wood. For example, if you pledged for a Roll The Dice Rolling Tile ($35) and wish to switch to Mahogany ($43), you could do so, with an additional charge of $8.
This ensures you get a wood you’ll love, rather than another random wood with a “reroll” that may or may not be satisfactory.
We should note that if you have strong preferences regarding woods, we feel the best course of action is to select a wood you know you’ll love from the beginning; you’ll ultimately be happier with your piece(s), and that’s what we always strive for!

The Caster Tile: where do you store the ball bearings when not using it? And, hey, shouldn't there be 3 spell slots at 5th level on the Caster Tile? There are only two!
Each Caster Tile will come with a small velvet pouch, in which will reside the ball bearings and your magnetic wand. We recommend keeping them inside of it when not in use.
As to the spell slots - you got us! Indeed, there should be three slots for fifth level spells. We made this error on the initial prototypes, but we will correct this on the final versions (still, in the meantime, we will occupy ourselves by feeling shame as a bonus action).

Can any of the Tiles be used to store minis or dice when not in use?
Some people have wondered if they could store a mini, set of dice, or other small items inside any of the Tabletop Tiles when they were stacked. This is not likely to be possible, due to the fact that Tabletop Tiles are rather slim, at just 5/8” in thickness. Even if you have something small enough, we don’t recommend using Tabletop Tiles in this way. While the posts will ensure you can neatly stack your Tiles, they don’t “lock” and aren’t designed to keep securely closed in all circumstances, and if you tried to stack one upside down on top of another, to create a larger storage space, there would be nothing at all holding them together.
Luckily, we do have solutions for beautifully and securely holding and transporting dice and minis: our Dice Vaults and Hero Vaults, which feature sturdy magnetic closures, available for order at wyrmwoodgaming.com! :)

Will you offer EU-friendly shipping?
We have looked into EU-friendly options, and unfortunately they’re generally not a good fit for a handcrafted product like ours - we have a lot of variations, and the fulfillment and finishing touches are not something we generally feel confident entrusting to an outside company. Having confidence in the entire process from raw lumber to shipping is a key part of why we can offer our Craftsman’s Promise.
EU-friendly options are best suited for products with set, clearly defined SKUs and no variations or customizations that need to be done at or near the end of the process (such as engravings), and nothing special that need occur during fulfillment (such as randomly choosing pieces for RTD pledges).
That said, we’ll be looking at the numbers, and likely “cap” shipping at a certain point (if not the amounts you see on the page now, not much beyond them). Stay tuned for more information about this as the campaign progresses.
We’re dismayed by VAT and customs fees, as they impose a burden on our backers outside the United States, but unfortunately it’s very difficult to get around, and the policies in place by these governments is what it is. However, we’ll continue exploring options and update the campaign should we find a solution.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
